MISURA MONITORS

MISURA MONITORS

How do I know if my laptop is compatible?

To be able to connect both portable monitors, your laptop must have two video outputs (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C with video output, Thunderbolt 2).

What connection cables will I need to connect the monitors to the laptop?

The package includes 2x USB-C -> USB-C cable, 2x USB-C -> USB-A cable, 2x mini HDMI - > HDMI cable.

If your laptop has two USB-C ports with a video output, you will only need two USB-C -> USB-C cables to connect the monitors. Please make sure that the cable is connected to the port on the monitor marked with the SS symbol.

If your laptop has an HDMI video port in combination with USB-C port, use USB-C -> USB-C cable to connect the first monitor and two cables to connect the second monitor: a mini HDMI -> HDMI cable for video signal transmission and a USB-C -> USB-A for power supply. Please make sure that the cable is connected to the port on the monitor marked with the battery symbol.

If your laptop has a video port in a combination of DisplayPort and USB-C, you will need to purchase a DisplayPort/HDMI adapter (available in our e-shop HERE). Use a USB-C -> USB-C cable to connect the first monitor and two cables to connect the second monitor: a mini HDMI -> HDMI cable with DisplayPort reduction for video signal transmission and a USB-C -> USB-A cable for power supply. Please make sure that the cable is connected to the port on the monitor marked with the battery symbol.

If your laptop has a Thunderbolt and HDMI video port combination, you will need to purchase a Thunderbolt/HDMI reduction (available in our e-shop HERE). Use a USB-C -> USB-C cable to connect the first monitor and two cables to connect the second monitor: a mini HDMI -> HDMI cable with Thunderbolt reduction for video signal transmission and a USB-C -> USB-A cable for power supply. Please make sure that the cable is connected to the port on the monitor marked with the battery symbol.

Are the necessary cables and reductions included in the product package?

Yes, the package includes 2x USB-C -> USB-C cable, 2x USB-C -> USB-A cable, 2x mini HDMI -> HDMI cable.

DisplayPort or Thunderbolt reductions are available in our e-shop HERE

Can I connect portable monitors to a laptop that has only one video output?

Yes, however only one portable monitor can be connected. Leave the other portable monitor folded.

Can I connect both portable monitors to my laptop to one HDMI port using a dual HDMI hub?

Yes, but both connected portable monitors will display the same image.

My laptop has two video outputs, but unfortunately it doesn't have two available USB connectors for power supply. How do I power the monitors?

If you are using the video outputs via the USB-C connector, you do not need to worry about the power supply, this connector simultaneously powers the monitors and transmits a video signal.

If you are using video output via HDMI, DisplayPort or Thunderbolt, you must provide power supply via USB cable. You can either plug this into an available port on your laptop, or you can use a power adapter (5V, 1A) commonly used for mobile phones.

The image is too dark or too light. How can I adjust it?

Use the +/- button on the side of the LCD monitor to adjust the brightness setting.

The image is shaky or wavy

Check that the USB-C and HDMI cables are properly connected between the portable USB monitor and the computer.

Move electrical devices that may cause interference further away from the monitor.

The image has color defects (white is not white)

Inspect the USB-C and HDMI cables and check that no connectors are excessively bent.
